Anita Barone

Anita Barone, a stage actress with a wide range of skills who is mostly related to sitcoms on TV she was given the perfect opportunity to shine as Jeff Foxworthy's spouse on the ABC show "The Jeff Foxworthy Show" which aired for one season from 1995 to 1996. Barone began her performance on stage at the age of five in Detroit, where she was born after moving with her family to the city from St Louis. At the age of 23 she was in over 50 plays that were mostly produced by universities as well as regional theatres. Some of her stage performances included Juliet from Romeo and Juliet, Helen Keller in an adaptation of "Monday After the Miracle" as well as the character of Agnes who is a young and afflicted nun in "Agnes of God." Her screen debut came in the form of a small part in "The The Rosary Murders" as well as a small role in "Ricochet" in 1996, as well as she played the lead role in the indie romantic comedy "Just Friends" which premiered in 1996. Her first Hollywood employment of note was in the stock company for "Carol And Company" (NBC between 1990 and 1991) which was a disastrous plan of Carol Burnett to revive the variety/sketch comedy program. Barone was also on"Wounded Heart," the USA Network movie "Wounded Heart" in 1995. Her return to sitcoms on the weekly air as a co-star on "Daddio", NBC 2000, with Michael Chiklis. Anita Anita Anita
